I was born in Guaynabo City, Puerto Rico, and I am proud to be the daughter of a Puerto Rican father and a mother from the Dominican Republic. My love for public administration and community service began at an early age, inspired by my father, who dedicated over 25 years of his life serving the City of Guaynabo. Through his example, I learned the importance of public service, commitment, and creating meaningful connections with the community. My family later settled in Washington Heights, New York, where I spent my formative years before making the life changing decision to move to North Miami Beach, Florida.  I arrived with three young boys, and later welcomed my daughter, who was born in Miami. Like so many families, I came here seeking opportunity, a safe community, and a better future. My commitment to North Miami Beach goes far beyond being a resident. I believe leadership begins with integrity, transparency, and accountability. Our residents deserve elected officials who listen, communicate openly, and are accountable for the decisions they make. Transparency in government and holding our public officials accountable are essential to building trust and creating a thriving, resilient community. I am running for Commissioner because I want to give back to the community that has given so much to my family. I believe in safe neighborhoods, education, responsible economic development, support for our seniors, veterans, youth, and individuals with disabilities, and a city government that always puts residents first. Together, we can build a more resilient, united, and transparent North Miami Beach where every family has the opportunity to succeed, every neighborhood is valued, and every voice is heard.
